Our start to school is slightly different from the usual. I can't wait to meet you all and start our learning journey together. When we are back to "normal" school, our learning space will be Room 11 just beside the Kakano class and we are part of the Kakano team.
Starting from next Monday and until we are back in the classroom altogether, I will be sharing learning activities for you and your child to complete as part of their online learning at home. The activities aim to be fun and are an introduction to school life. Let your child be the guide and just complete what your child is interested in.
The learning activities will be shared on Educa (an online learning portfolio for children). You will receive an email invitation to access your child's journal. Please email me if you do not receive this invitation by Thursday afternoon (30th April)

Weekly
Bingo Board - a choice of 9 activities that you can do with your child throughout the week. These cover a range of curriculum areas which reflect the play provocations that we do in Kakano during normal class times.
Daily
A literacy-based activity either with a reading or writing focus.
Maths - games to play with your child
To keep up to date with class notices please visit this class blog regularly. Educa will be used for learning activities during this time and then as a portfolio to document your child's learning.
